PORTLAND — The Oregon Right to Life rally took place on Jan. 17th, marking the 37th year of the Roe v. Wade case, which has been one of the most controversial cases in the U.S. Supreme Court history.

The rally, which attracted more than 3,000 people who are against abortion, began at the headquarters of the Planned Parenthood Columbia-Willamette and continued to the Pioneer Courthouse Square. The rally featured music and speakers, including Portland Archbishop John G. Vlazny and Cindy Brunk of the organization Silent No More.

Pro-choice activists, including members of the Radical Women, also made an appearance at the Pioneer Courthouse Square during the rally, bringing a heated debate between the pro-life and pro-choice population.
